Respected Sir/Mam,
I have successfully applied in BSCBCH: Bachelor of Science [Hons] Biochemistry as a fresh admission under July 2023 session on 26th June 2023. RC: Pune. But my admission is not confirmed yet and I am worried about it.
IGNOU is postponing its fresh admission process date again and again. Do you have any idea or updates regarding fresh admission that might help me?
1. When will my admission confirm?
2. What is the next process to do once admission get confirmed?
3. Please guide me about assignments of BSCBCH program. [How to write it and how to submit it?]
Kind regards
Mohit Savji
Hello Mohit,
I hope you are doing well. If you applied for the BSCBCH program in the July 2023 session on 26th June 2023 and haven’t received confirmation yet, please keep checking your email. Normally, it takes 10-25 days to confirm the admission, but it has been around 35 days already. In this case, you should email your regional center. The email address for Pune RC is rcpune@ignou.ac.in. Additionally, you can submit a query on the IGram portal (https://igram.ignou.ac.in/). Select “Fresh Admission” as the query type and provide your enrollment number (123456789).
Once your admission is confirmed, you can proceed with your course. You will receive an enrollment number that you can use to check your course details by logging in here: https://admission.ignou.ac.in/changeadmdata/AdmissionStatusNew.ASP. You will also be assigned a study center where you will submit your assignments and participate in practicals.
If your admission is confirmed, it will be the July 2023 session, as IGNOU BSCBCH is a year-based program so you will need to submit your assignments in March 2024, and the exam form also needs to be submitted in March 2024. Your exams will take place in June 2024. After completing the first year, you will have to do re-registration for the second year in July 2024. If you need guidance on how to write assignments and submit them, you can read a detailed article here: https://ignoubaba.com/how-to-write-ignou-assignment/.
If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to ask. Best of luck with your studies!
